Trillium Children’s Center is a “Montessori House of Children” with Play group, Preschool, Day care, evening classes and our special share your knowledge program for children of 1.5 years and onwards.

We offer a clean, safe and fun learning environment to nurture and challenge our students to develop their full potential, both education and socially.

TCC is supported by Montessori and Early Childhood professionals who gives credence to all the students of all the different ages.

TCC follows the Montessori curriculum integrated with the best practice of Early Childhood Education and the 3Cs. The Montessori method nurtures the all-round development of the child to establish their social, intellectual, emotional, and physical needs.

The curriculum is child centered. We focus on the child’s overall development. We provide one on one attention to each student.

We provide many opportunities for our children to learn, improve discipline, coordination, concentration and independence skills.

Our mixed age classroom is carefully prepared for the children to work together.

Working in groups or with peers helps children effectively express themselves and helps them make full use of their capabilities.

Presenting topics or themes to others or their parents increases the child’s confidence and language capabilities. It also helps them express their emotions and further understand the world around them and is strongly encouraged by us at TCC.

TCC’s educational goals are instilling in children a love of learning, the ability to make appropriate learning choices, respect foroneself, other people, and their physical surroundings.

Trillium Children’s Center is owned, managed and operated by Mrs. Shweta Poddar. She has more than 12 years of professional teaching experience in Montessori schools, Early childhood preschools and Primary schools in various cities around the globe. Using her diverse knowledge, she designs the most creative and extraordinary curriculums. She has received training in early childhood education by NAYEC from the USA and has done a Diploma in Montessori and Early Childhood Education in Bangalore. She has also done a Diploma course in Primary school teaching from UK, allowing her to prepare curriculums, keeping in mind the child’s overall development. Recently, she had been selected to present her research paper, on the 3C’S that she has incorporated into her curriculum, at the 4th International Conference of Early Childhood Association.
